The Father Of Cameron Diaz Dies From Sudden Pneumonia…

Actress Cameron Diaz has lost her father, Emilio, in a surprising sudden death.

TMZ has reported that Diaz's father died suddenly early this morning (4/15/08) from complications of the flu, which turned into pneumonia.

Emilio Diaz was 58 years old.

Mr. Diaz was a resident of Seal Beach, California and was liked by all who knew him. The news came as a surprise to Cameron who was working on a movie project when she received the bad news.

Diaz was on the set of "My Sister's Keeper" at the time, and production has been delayed so the actress can tend to her families personal business.
