Speed Racer Early Review And Movie Trailer

This is a kid's movie through and through, for better or worse. One thing's for sure: Wachowski rocks!

And the early reviews for "Speed Racer" are in. Most people hated it, and some people liked it. Reading most of the reviews at Rotten Tomatoes, we think most people hated it.

The plot is typical of a movie like this. The main character is good at what he does, gets the world offered to him by a crooked businessman, and has to defy him and expose him for his crimes.

Sure, it's brainless, corny, and completely defies reality. But it is done so well that it truly was entertaining. Exactly what a family summer movie should be.

Initial box office numbers aren't in, but we suspect "Iron Man" has nothing to worry about. Oh well, guess the world will just have to wait for "The Incredible Hulk" next month. Go Bruce Banner! Go Edward Norton! Go Tony Stark! Go Iron Man!
