Miley Cyrus Ready With New "Breakout" Album - No More Hannah Montana
It seems that everything Miley Cyrus touches turns to gold. This time around we think she is hoping for platinum.
Holding the biggest gold microphone we've ever seen, the 15-year-old super star appears more mature and grown up on the cover of her upcoming album, "Breakout", her first solo album without any reference or look of Hannah Montana. Miley Cyrus seems to be telling the world that she's ready to rock
Some songs like "7 Things" and "Fly on the Wall" will get your heart pumping, but it is still to be seen if the now infamous Vanity Fair photo shoot will put a dent in Cyrus' sales. We suspect it will only help. So will the "Got Milk" ad campaign and the "Green Bra" incident.

"The Strangers" A Frightening Film - Review And Movie Trailer
Every now and then a horror film comes along that is different, and manages to scare the life out of you.
So it is with "The Strangers," a creepily distinctive psychological thriller with a firm grasp on the psychological aspect.
The movie was released on Friday. Although horror movies have taken a backseat at the box office these days, audiences will be able to recognize "Strangers" as the real thing.
Apparently inspired by actual events about irrational acts of violence, the movie is set in the secluded South Carolina family vacation home where James (Scott Speedman) was planning to celebrate his engagement to Kristen (Liv Tyler). But it is clear from the nervousness between the couple as they drive up to the house in total darkness that things didn't go as planned.
Once inside, things quickly start going bad as it becomes clear they are not the only ones there. They are not alone.
Like the best of psychological horror in its truest sense, there's always the lasting possibility that the frightening intruders could be creations of their own concealed anger.
Not that it's necessary to go there, since director Bertino delivers first hand the ghastly events with a sickening tension and a bare minimum of guts and blood that has been cleverly displaced by a frighteningly efficient soundtrack. Bertino also has an amazingly animated screamer with Liv Tyler, who tells us much with little or no words. We suspect the soundtrack for this film will be a big hit.
That silent approach also works for Speedman's character as well as for those disturbing masked trespassers identified in the credits by names like Dollface (Gemma Ward), Pin-Up Girl (Laura Margolis) and the breathless Man in the Mask (Kip Weeks).
This is a great first film for director Bertino. We guarantee you will pull into your driveway with a creepy sense of worry when you get home. Once you get inside you will turn on the lights and look around, check the windows, look under the bed - you might even have nightmares. That, my friends, is the true judge of a horror film. If you dream about it - it got you!

Christian Dior Pulls Advertisements With Sharon Stone
French fashion house Christian Dior has dropped its advertisements in China that feature Sharon Stone after the actress suggested the country's earthquake was retribution for its treatment of Tibet.
Dior distanced itself quickly from Stone's comments about "Bad Karma", fearing a backlash from consumers in one of the luxury goods industry's fastest growing markets.
Last week at the Cannes film festival, Stone gave a television interview saying she is "not happy" about China's treatment of Tibet, where violent protests broke out in March. "And then this earthquake happened," Stone said. "And I said, 'Is that karma? When you're not nice that the bad things happen to you?'"
Later in the interview, Stone said she had a change of heart and realized the importance of trying to help the victims even though she disagreed with the way China treats Tibet.

Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Buy Chateau Miraval for $60 Million!
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's growing family is going to have a lot more room to play.
Eager parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have just paid a cool $60 million on a extensive 1,000-acre estate in the south of France. With 35 bedrooms, plus a vineyard, lake, forest and moat, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and the long awaited twins are going to be playing house in high style.
"It's called Chateau Miraval in a village called Brignol, which is near from Aix-en-Provence," a source told reporters. "And it's absolutely unbelievable.
"Brad and Angelina are delighted, they love the place and have already been furniture shopping to fill the place - and it is enormous," the insider added. "They've already spent another million on furniture and the whole family can't wait to move in."
The pre-Roman estate also has a swimming pool, billiards room, indoor pool, his-and-hers gyms, sauna and Jacuzzi and a huge banquet hall.
Splendid cascading stone-walled terraces have been replanted with 13 different varieties of olives, and water is everywhere on the sprawling estate-20 fountains, aqueducts and a stream that runs through hidden tunnels, passes through the moat and fills the lake.
The Jolie-Pitts hope to be completely moved in within the next three months, if not sooner. For the past year, Brad and Angelina had been house-hunting in the area, where residents include Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis and U2 front man Bono.
Since arriving in France at the end of April, Pitt, Jolie and the kids have been shacking up at Microsoft cofounder Paul Allen's villa in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Jolie befriended the tech titan while filming Dreamworks' Shark Tale in 2004.

"The Strangers" Early Review - Watch Movie Trailer
After returning from a wedding reception, a couple staying in an isolated vacation house receive a knock on the door in the mid-hours of the night. What ensues is a violent invasion by three strangers, their faces hidden behind masks. The couple find themselves in a violent struggle, in which they go beyond what either of them thought capable in order to survive.
The horrifying events that took place in the Hoyt family's vacation home at 1801 Clark Road on February 11, 2005, are still not entirely known.
Champagne. Rose petals. Candlelight. It was supposed to be a night of celebration for Kristen McKay (Liv Tyler) and James Hoyt (Scott Speedman). But after leaving a friend's wedding reception and returning to the house, everything had collapsed for the happy couple.
Then came a 4 a.m. knock on the door and a haunting voice.

New "Burn After Reading" Movie Trailer Starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt
The Coen Brothers are back at it again with a trailer for their latest film "Burn After Reading." This looks like another madcap and entertaining Coen Brothers dramatic comedy with an all-star cast that includes Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Tilda Swinton, John Malkovich, Frances McDormand and J.K. Simmons.
Pitt and McDormand play two gym employees who stumble onto a CD containing secret documents belonging to a C.I.A. agent (Malkovich). They decide to try and blackmail him, which only leads to further trouble.
Brad Pitt's character seems like he could be a little over-the-top, but both Pitt and Clooney have a real flair for comedy even though they aren't often praised for it.

Miley Cyrus Kissing Pictures Worth $150,000
There's a bounty on Miley Cyrus' head. Well, actually it's on her lips.
Photo agencies are prepared to shell out at least $30,000 for a photo of Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus engaged in her first public kiss.
And if her famous tongue happens to touch that of Shia LaBeouf or a Jonas brother, the picture could be worth as much as $150,000.
Great. This is all we need… thousands of Paparazzi running all over town trying to make a name for themselves by getting "the big one."

Harry Potter Prequel Story To Be Sold At Auction
Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling has written a prequel to her series of best-selling books - telling the story of what happened before the first novel "Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone" was released in 1997.
The Harry Potter prequel comes more then a year after Rowling published the seventh and final episode of the story, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", which was released in 2007. The highly successful franchise starred the young Daniel Radcliffe as Harry.
Unfortunately, the new (old) story is not available for publication; it will be sold at auction next month to raise money for charity.
We still are not counting out a future prequel movie at some point. There seems to be a saying in Hollywood, "If you've got something good, keep it going…"

Elijah Wood And Jennifer Connelly Lend Their Voices to the Animated Movie "9"
An all-star cast will provide voices for the main characters in Academy Award nominee Shane Acker's animated epic "9", which is currently in post-production and scheduled for release in December 2008.
Elijah Wood will voice the title role of 9. Joining him are Academy Award winner Jennifer Connelly, actor and filmmaker Crispin Glover, Academy Award winner Martin Landau, two-time Tony Award winner Christopher Plummer, and John C. Reilly.

Kirsten Dunst In Rehab For Depression, Not Drugs And Alcohol
Celebrity Kirsten Dunst, who co-starred in the "Spider-Man" movies with Toby Maguire, says she checked into rehab earlier this year because she was suffering from depression, not battling drugs or alcohol.
In an interview with reporters, the 26-year-old actress said she went to the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah -- which has also been visited by Lindsay Lohan and Eva Mendes -- after months of feeling depressed.
"It was a good six months before I decided to go to rehab," said Dunst, a regular on the Los Angeles party scene who allegedly told a tabloid magazine last year "the world would be a better place if everyone smoked marijuana."
"I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself," Dunst added "I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too."
Dunst said she had gone public with her illness to highlight the fight confronted by so many other successful people, and to stop the rumors of constant drug and alcohol abuse.
Kirsten Dunst rose to popularity as a young actress in films such as "Interview With the Vampire" with Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Christian Slater, and recently had the starring role in director Sofia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette."

Will Smith Talks To Ellen DeGeneres About Divorce
Since announcing her desire to marry her gay lover, Ellen DeGeneres clearly has marriage on her mind.
The talk show host - who plans to marry girlfriend Portia de Rossi and has talked marriage with several guests including John McCain and Jenna Bush Hager - was back to talk with Will Smith.
On Monday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, DeGeneres mentioned that Will and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, have been married for 10 years, unheard of in Hollywood. "It's like dog years when you're married here," she said. "That's like 50 years, right?
"What I found is divorce just can't be an option," the actor explained. "It's really that simple. And I think that's the problem with L.A. - there are so many options. So a huge part of the success for [Jada] and I is that we just removed the other options."
The secret to their success? "We're like listen, we're going to be together one way or the other so we might as well try to be happy," he said.
DeGeneres also suggested that Smith consider politics for his next project - and join Barack Obama as his running mate.
"I do think about running for office sometimes," Smith admitted. "Right up until that Monday after the movie opens and I have a 100-percent approval rating. No politician is ever going to have that!"
