Angelina Jolie's Doctor Schedules News Conference And Update

Now that eager parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have just paid a cool $60 million on an extensive 1,000-acre estate in the south of France - they are ready to bring home some babies.

With 35 bedrooms, plus a vineyard, lake, forest and moat, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and the long awaited twins are going to be playing house in high style.

"It's called Chateau Miraval Estate in a village called Brignol, which is near Aix-en-Provence," a source told reporters. "And it's absolutely unbelievable.

We can only imagine what the Royal Nursery must look like at the now famous Chateau Miraval since Pitt was seen shopping last month at some pretty swanky places.

Angelina Jolie's obstetrician, Dr. Michel Sussmann, who is watching over the 33-year-old actress at a French Riviera hospital where she is expected to give birth, called a news conference for later Wednesday afternoon.

Would he announce that her twins had been born? That remained a mystery; the hospital wouldn't say.

Jolie's partner, Brad Pitt, was seen leaving the seafront Lenval hospital Wednesday morning with one of their four young children.

The hospital announced Tuesday that Jolie had checked into its Santa Maria maternity clinic to be kept under doctors' watch and rest before she gives birth. A hospital spokeswoman said the births were "not far away," but spokeswoman Nadine Bauer said Jolie would almost certainly stay in the clinic until then.

Nice Matin, the local newspaper, reported that Jolie has the best room in the hospital, on the fifth floor, with an "unobstructed view" over the Bay of Angels. It said she arrived by helicopter, landing Sunday afternoon on the hospital's roof. The newspaper said the actress reserved four rooms on the maternity ward, with a bodyguard keeping watch.

The Lenval hospital, a boxy-looking building with a white exterior, mirrored blue windows and set among palm trees, looks out over the sea.

Angelina Jolie Admitted To French Hospital - Awaiting Birth

Angelina Jolie has been admitted to a hospital in the south of France where she expects to give birth to twins.

Nadine Bauer, a spokeswoman for the Lenval Hospital in Nice, says Jolie is fine and that everything is going well. She said the actress' admittance to the hospital's maternity wing had been planned for some time.

Bauer said Jolie would remain in the hospital until she gives birth.

She said Jolie was admitted so she could be kept under surveillance and was not expected to give birth immediately.

Bauer would not say when Jolie was admitted.

It is unclear if father Brad Pitt would also be staying at the hospital.

Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Give $1 Million To Iraq Children

The Jolie-Pitt Foundation will be giving a total of $1 million for refugee children in Iraq and also children from America that have lost a parent that was serving in the Iraq war.

The celebrity couple will give $500,000 for school materials and educational programs for the Iraq refugee children, and the American children that lost a parent serving in the war will also be allocated $500,000 for expenses for tutoring programs at the Armed Services YMCA Operation Hero Program.

In 2006 Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt donated $8 million to the foundation with $1 million being given to Doctors Without Borders and Global AIDS Alliance.

"My visit to Iraq left me even more deeply convinced that we not only have a moral obligation to help displaced Iraqi families, but also a serious, long-term, national security interest in ending this crisis," Angelina Jolie wrote in an op-ed for the Washington Post on her visit to Iraq this past February.

"Wanted" With Angelina Jolie - Early Review And Extended Movie Trailer

Angelina Jolie Experimented With Knifes, Drugs And Sex At Age 14

Angelina Jolie has told reporters that she has visible scars on her body because she and an ex-boyfriend experimented with knives in bed when she was only fourteen years old. The boyfriend in question was NOT Brad Pitt or Billy Bob Thornton.

But she explains that she only did it because she was curious about vampires. Although we thought vampires used their fangs to draw blood. And we bet she didn't tell that story to case workers when she was trying to adopt...

Angelina said:

"When I was 14, I collected knives. My first boyfriend and I ended up getting into some fighting in bed and being silly. People think that happens every time I go to bed. It was actually something he never wanted to do again. It was a mistake and we really hurt ourselves. It was just being young, you know, when you're curious about vampires and that kind of thing."

We wonder if the things that come out of her mouth are really true, or if she is just a master at knowing what to say to the press to get free publicity.

She ended by saying: "It was an accident and I ended up in hospital."

This might explain the vials of blood worn by her and one-time hubby Billy Bob Thornton, who has just recently come out ridiculing the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt phenomenon.

It may also help explain her early video leaked onto the net showing her talking about sex, drugs and everything else a famous movie star does not usually talk about. We suspect the adoption caseworker was not aware of this information either.

Billy Bob Thornton Ridicules Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie is going through a "high school phase" by dating Brad Pitt, her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton has claimed.

The actor has ridiculed Jolie's relationship with Pitt, insisting his ex-wife will soon "wake up" and leave him.

Billy Bob said: "She is just going through a high school phase. You know dating the quarterback of the football team with Brad Pitt over there. She'll be waking up from that dream in no time."

He added at the launch of his new music album with The Boxmasters: "Who knows if I'll be there when she's ready to come to her senses though."

Billy Bob married Angelina in 2000 after they met on the movie set for 'Pushing Tin' featuring Cate Blanchett.

The couple divorced three years later, with Angelina claiming they had both changed and "had nothing in common".

Angelina Jolie - who is due to give birth to twins this month - began dating Brad Pitt soon after his divorce from Jennifer Aniston after the pair met on the set of 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' in 2005.

Angelina and Brad also have three adopted children, six-year-old son Maddox, four-year-old Pax, Zahara, three, and two-year-old biological daughter Shiloh.

Jon Voight To Play Jack Bauer's New Nemesis On '24'

Jon Voight is set to play Jack Bauer's adversary on the upcoming seventh season of the hit Fox series "24." Voight is the estranged father of actress Angelina Jolie.

Voight's character, the mastermind behind next season's main terrorist threat, will be introduced during the shows two-hour prequel, then return later in the season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The "24" prequel features Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) dealing with an international crisis, while back in the United States, the newly elected first female President, Allison Taylor (Cherry Jones), prepares for her inauguration day.

It was filmed on location in South Africa and will air Nov. 23 at 8 p.m. - two months before the series returns.

Fox and "24" producers decided to air a prequel to hold fans over after creative reassessments and the writer's strike delayed the shows return for more than a year. The actual seventh season will kick off in January.

"We're excited about the prequel because it explores Jack's complex emotional state of mind and still has all the signature excitement and suspense that fans have come to expect from '24,'" executive producer Howard Gordon said about the prequel when it was announced. "Shooting in South Africa affirms everyone's commitment to making this season especially memorable for our fans."

The South African story line was originally planned as a plot for next season, but because of the delays, it was nixed and recycled when the prequel idea came to fruition.

Now, season seven will instead focus on Jack Bauer operating without CTU in Washington.

Kiefer Sutherland can also be seen in the horror movie "Mirrors" due August 15, 2008.

According to Forbes magazine's 2008 Oprah Winfrey has been named as the world's most powerful celebrity. The US TV talk show queen topped the annual 100 list beating Tiger Woods and Angelina Jolie.

It's said that the Forbes list is designed to reflect the influence of a celebrity in any one-year and it looks at how much a celebrity is paid, and how much press, internet and TV coverage they get.

Stars that have not been included on the list this year include Tom Hanks, Jessica Alba and Elton John, who was last year's number seven.

Box Office Rundown - "Kung Fu Panda" Beats "Zohan" While "Sex" Slips..

Jack Black's Po the panda beat up Adam Sandler's hairdresser this weekend.

Black's animated comedy "Kung Fu Panda" with Angelina Jolie, pulled in $60 million in ticket sales to open as the weekend's No. 1 movie, while Adam Sandler's hair and sex salon adventure "You Don't Mess With the Zohan" opened in second place with $40 million, according to studio estimates late Sunday.

The two movies carried Hollywood to a big weekend finish, where the top 12 films took in $172 million; up 32 percent from the same weekend last year when "Ocean's Thirteen" led with a $36 million opening. The big draw to "Ocean's" was the George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon combo.

DreamWorks "Kung Fu Panda" and Sony's "Zohan" topped last weekend's leader, the Warner Bros. film "Sex and the City" with Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth, which dropped to fourth place with $21 million.

"Kung Fu Panda," distributed by Paramount for DreamWorks Animation, has Jack Black providing the voice of the tubby Po, a panda in ancient China who becomes an unlikely martial-arts hero. The voice cast includes Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Lucy Liu and Jackie Chan.

"Kung Fu Panda" had the best opening ever for a non-sequel cartoon flick from DreamWorks, topping such hits as "Shark Tale" and "Madagascar." Among DreamWorks animated releases, only the second and third "Shrek" movies did better.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren Have New Baby Girl

Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren have welcomed a new baby girl. She was born this weekend at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Her representative had no comment and no official press release has been distributed.

Alba, 26, and Warren, 28, announced they were expecting last December. During her pregnancy, Alba admitted, "anything could make me incredibly angry or break down crying. That's not something I'm used to."

She and Warren got engaged after announcing their baby news, and were married in a Beverly Hills courthouse's ceremony room on May 19. The couple just moved into a $5 million Beverly Hills home with their three dogs.

"It's a lot of stress to buy a house, have a baby and get married in six months," she recently told USA Weekend. "It's a lot of life-changing decisions. I'm really, really secure and happy in my relationship."

Jessica Alba can currently be seen in the comedy "The Love Guru" starring Mike Myers and Justin Timberlake.

"Kung Fu Panda" Early Review And Movie Trailer

Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Buy Chateau Miraval for $60 Million!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's growing family is going to have a lot more room to play.

Eager parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have just paid a cool $60 million on a extensive 1,000-acre estate in the south of France. With 35 bedrooms, plus a vineyard, lake, forest and moat, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and the long awaited twins are going to be playing house in high style.

"It's called Chateau Miraval in a village called Brignol, which is near from Aix-en-Provence," a source told reporters. "And it's absolutely unbelievable.

"Brad and Angelina are delighted, they love the place and have already been furniture shopping to fill the place - and it is enormous," the insider added. "They've already spent another million on furniture and the whole family can't wait to move in."

The pre-Roman estate also has a swimming pool, billiards room, indoor pool, his-and-hers gyms, sauna and Jacuzzi and a huge banquet hall.

Splendid cascading stone-walled terraces have been replanted with 13 different varieties of olives, and water is everywhere on the sprawling estate-20 fountains, aqueducts and a stream that runs through hidden tunnels, passes through the moat and fills the lake.

The Jolie-Pitts hope to be completely moved in within the next three months, if not sooner. For the past year, Brad and Angelina had been house-hunting in the area, where residents include Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis and U2 front man Bono.

Since arriving in France at the end of April, Pitt, Jolie and the kids have been shacking up at Microsoft cofounder Paul Allen's villa in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Jolie befriended the tech titan while filming Dreamworks' Shark Tale in 2004.

Jessica Alba, who appears on the cover of the July issue of "Fit Pregnancy", is just one of several celebrities who are getting ready for diaper duty this summer.

And when it comes to child rearing, Alba tells the magazine, "I don't want to be my child's friend; I want to be a mom."

Of course, in the case of 17-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears who is also due soon, nobody will blame her child if it can't help but look at mom and wonder what went wrong.

Then, there are also those recurring baby makers, including sexy hot Gwen Stefani and Angelina Jolie, who just confirmed she is having twins, though her reported due date of Aug. 19 seems to be at odds with the very pregnant pictures taken last week at Cannes.

In the meantime, Nicole Kidman is barely even showing, though it seems like she's been pregnant forever.

Although the rumors have been out there for years, a video tape has just surfaced of a 23-year-old Angelina Jolie talking about sex, drugs and other not very movie star like things.

The video shows Jolie hanging out in a drug den, in a grainy video of the Hollywood celebrity before she dramatically turned her life around.

The Sun has posted the video, shot in 1999, showing a woman sitting next to Angelina and smoking what the tabloid says is heroin.

At times her eyelids are so heavy she can hardly keep them open. Jolie is also seen with uncombed hair as she rubs her teeth continuously. In the video, filmed in 1999 when she was 23, the performer boasts about loving sadomasochistic sex and harming her pets.

Angelina Jolie, now 32, pregnant and a model mother of four children, has acknowledged she turned to drugs when she was an aspiring actress.

"I've done coke, heroin, ecstasy, LSD, everything. I gave them up long ago", commented Jolie. Angelina does not take any drugs herself in the video.

No word yet from Angelina's camp.
