Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe - Divorce Finalized

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe's divorce was finalized Thursday, Los Angeles court records show, indicating that financial and custody settlements have been established.

Details were not immediately available, however, the ex-couple have repeatedly sought a shared custody agreement with children Ava, 8, and Deacon, 4.

The divorce documents, dated June 12, read: "The court finds the parties have settled all their remaining issues in these proceedings."

Witherspoon is currently dating Jake Gyllenhaal, while Phillippe, 33, recently was seen out with Australian actress Abbie Cornish, 25.

After seven years of marriage, Witherspoon, 32, filed for divorce in November 2006 citing irreconcilable differences.

The couple first met when a friend brought Phillippe to Witherspoon's 21st-birthday party. Two years later, after they had costarred in 1999's "Cruel Intentions", Phillippe proposed. The couple married in June 1999 and had Ava three months later.

Ryan Phillippe will next be seen in the comedy romance thriller "Franklyn" due in theaters in early December - the story of four lost souls in a futuristic London society where there is no separation between Church and State.

Reese Witherspoon can be seen this November starring in the comedy "Four Christmases" with Vince Vaughn, about a couple who struggle to visit all four of their divorced parents on Christmas Day.

Ryan Phillippe And Abbie Cornish Are Officially "ON"

He's still trying to keep a low profile, but actor Ryan Phillippe is now at ease with publicly acknowledging his romantic relationship with Abbie Cornish.

In a first time public showing, the actor was seen courting with his "Stop Loss" co-star this week for an awards ceremony in Beverly Hills, followed by an friendly night out for jazz in Hollywood.

Ryan, 33, has been connected with the Cornish for two years, when they worked on a movie together. Regardless of widespread gossip about an on-set romance, Phillippe has denied that it caused his separating from then wife Reese Witherspoon.

Phillippe accompanied Cornish to the Avalon Hotel where she received an award from the Australians In Film organization.

Following Abbie's award, she and Ryan visited "Hennessy Jazz Night" at Teddy's in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

"They were very close all night," a source told reporters, they sat together and took in the live music. It was very romantic.

Ryan Phillippe can next be seen in the romantic thriller "Franklyn" scheduled for release next year, it's the story of four lost souls in a futuristic London society where there is no separation between Church and State.

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal could be the next celebrity couple to get married.

Jake is planning to ask the question to Reese very soon, a source close to the actress claimed.

"They've been talking marriage for a while, they'll be formally engaged any day now. They want to spend the rest of their lives together."

The couple is seemingly taking a more conventional approach to marriage.

"This is a very serious relationship," the source said. "But Reese is very conservative and traditional. I'm sure she doesn't want her kids to see her 'living in sin.'"
