Robin Williams To Perform At Acme Comedy Club In MN

Funny man Robin Williams will host three comedy shows at the Acme Comedy Club in Minneapolis, MN this week. Williams will use the intimate mood of Acme to polish his skills before his big show in Las Vegas.

Williams Vegas show will be on May 25 at MGM Grand. Tickets went on sale Monday, May 5 at 10 am with three shows scheduled Tues., May 6 through Thurs., May 8. The shows are at 8:00 p.m. and tickets cost $50 each.

The tickets are also available on the Ticket Web website, located at TicketWeb.com.

The Minneapolis website for Craigslist offered as much as $100 per ticket to anyone willing to sell tickets, but Acme posted a warning Monday afternoon against buying tickets from scalpers, citing a lack of validity.

According to the Acme Comedy Club website, it is one of the top five comedy clubs in the country.

Robin Williams And Wife Seek Divorce...

Married in April of 1989, Robin Williams and his wife, Marsha Garces Williams, are splitting up after 19 years of marriage.

According to San Francisco Chronicle reports, "Marcia Williams filed a divorce petition in San Francisco on March 21, citing irreconcilable differences."

The couple wed shortly after Williams' divorce from Valerie Velardi, to whom he had been married for 10 years.

Williams and Garces, who worked together on projects such as Patch Adams and Mrs. Doubtfire, have two teenage children together: daughter Zelda, 18, and son Cody, 16.
